1. CONTROLLER

Joanne Barley, Corso Zanitello, 9, 28922 Verbania, Italy – Email: a.prato@luxurylakeviewitaly.com. For further details see the Legal notice.

2. VISITING THE WEBSITE

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, USA). When you visit the site, Netlify processes technically necessary data: your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the referring page and the browser used. This is necessary to deliver the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Netlify stores this access data for less than 30 days and then deletes it. Data may be transferred to the USA in the process; this is based on Netlify's Data Processing Agreement.

3. COOKIES & TRACKING

We do not use cookies for advertising or analytics and no tracking. Fonts are loaded from our own server, not from Google.

4. ENQUIRIES BY EMAIL

The enquiry form does not store or send any data itself. When you submit it, your email program opens with a pre-filled message; we only receive your details (name, email, travel dates, number of guests, message) once you send that email yourself. We process them to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your email goes to Annalisa Prato, Luxury Lakeview Italy, Verbania, who manages the rental locally on our behalf.

We only store enquiries for as long as is necessary to process them and to meet statutory retention obligations.

5. AVAILABILITY CALENDAR

The calendar only shows which days the house is booked – without names or any other guest data. We manage the bookings in a Google Calendar (Google Ireland Ltd.); your browser loads them via our own website and does not connect to Google directly. Your selection in the calendar is not stored.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, to data portability and to object. Simply send us an email. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority – in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

7. EXTERNAL LINKS

This website links to external sites, such as luxurylakeviewitaly.com and Google Maps. Data is only transferred to the respective provider once you click such a link; that provider is responsible for the data processing there.
